Description:
1928 Colt Single Action Army chambered in .45LC with a 4 3/4'' barrel and blue color cased finish. Per the Colt archive letter it was shipped March 6, 1928 to San Francisco, CA. This 90 year old SAA remains in very high condition. All numbers math on the frame, grip frame, back of the cylinder, and grips. The bluing on the barrel is exceptional with just a trace of silvering at the muzzle.The cylinder shows light rotation lines. The front strap shows only light wear. The back strap has some fine thinning and patina. The color casing on the frame is very nice with some light scattered freckling in a couple of areas. All 4 clicks are crisp. The bore is bright and shiny. The grips are in excellent condition with sharp checkering throughout.
