Description:
***   SOLD   ***   Handsome boxlock ejector from one of Scotland’s best gunmakers. Harkom were known for the quality and beauty of their work. The shape of the frame and in particular of the fences is different than any other double. It has recently been refurbished and is in excellent condition.   ***   The frame is extensively engraved with curved serpentine fences. It has double triggers and weighs 7lb 2oz.   ***   The 30” nitro steel barrels have auto ejectors, are chambered for 2-1/2” cartridges, and are topped by a raised solid concave game style rib. The bluing is excellent. The left barrel is bored 0.727 and has a constriction of 0.013 for Improved Cylinder choke. Minimum wall thickness is 0.034. The right barrel is bored 0.727 with a constriction of 0.006 for Skeet choke. Minimum wall thickness is 0.032. Great for game or clays.   ***   The straight grip stock and splinter forearm are made of nicely figured walnut. The checkering is crisp. Stock dimensions are 15-1/4” over a 1” pad by 1-3/8” by 2”. Cast off for the right hand shooter. If you have ever been to a Scottish grouse moor then you already know why you should own this gun. If you have not been yet then it is time to purchase the gun and start your journey.  ***   Buyer is responsible for all shipping, insurance, and any other related charges. I give a 3-day non-firing inspection period and will only accept returns at buyer’s expense if the gun is not as described in the listing.
