Henry T Cooper was well known gunmaker in New York City in the mid 1800's. Henry T Cooper was also the maker of the Mountain man Jim Bridger's Rifle which is currently housed in the Mueseum of the Mountain Man in Pinedale, WY. This rifle is fully functional and has a set trigger with an excellent pull. Heavy octagon barrel 36" in length. Overall length is 52". Excellent bore. Prior owner used this gun in Upstate New York to take many Whitetail Deer. Silver inlay of squirrel. Hickory ramrod. Caliber is believed to 45. Weight of gun is 10 LBS 15 OZ.
