This German Luger - Artillary ser No 1194, does not have a year stamp.(Mfg Period abt 1910 -1918)This according to my reference material can mean that itescaped the massive arsenal reassembly that most German Luger's were subjected to in the post WW I era. All visible numbers are matching and are very distinct. The rust bluing is about 99%. Ejector, magazine catch, takedown lever, thumb safety lever. toggle, trigger are all a 100% perfect straw colored. The grips are w/o wear, cracks or imperfections. There are no holster or wear marks anywhere,
The bore has a mirror finish and a nice original twist. The action is smooth and locks open at the magazine (the magazine body
appears like an original type but unnumbered and w/a later wood bottom. This is a possible arsenal rework but it actually appears
more to me like NIB type Luger. It is esquisite !
