Let me preface this by saying I know nothing about these guns! I am selling this gun on consignment. The seller hopes to get his investment back. With that said, the gun has been totally refurbished. It is a .45 Colt, 4 3/4 inch barrel, case hardened frame. Numbers on the frame match. I beleive the grips are genuine ivory. I have the Colt Factory Letter and all the information sent with the gun. It has a name engraved on it, "James J. Wheat." There is also information in the packet about Mr. Wheat from the state of TX. A fascinating story and a gorgeous gun with a pedigree.
