U. S. Cavalry Saddle Bags circa Turn of the Century.
An original pair of 1918 "US" marked antique cavalry saddle bags in much better condition than most military saddlebags you see from this era. They have all the original unbroken straps and buckles still attached. I have had these bags in my collection for about 10 years. The leather is still pliable and soft. The buttons on the inside of the bags are still there as well as the original cotton canvas liners. Look at the pictures. These bags could be used, and have been treated with a leather dressing. Would be great on an Old West saddle or Spanish American War display or show off in your gun room.
