Starting with quality rifles such as the Ruger No.1, Mauser, Winchester Model 70, Ruger M77, CZ, or BRNO, I transform them into sleek, slender hunting rifles inspired by the elegance of 1910 designs. I also craft the elegant Faeton Underhammer muzzleloading rifles and Model 1911 .45 Super Longslide pistols. Call me or visit my site, which is listed on some of the photos, for more information regarding my line of fine bespoke firearms. Also check out my Custom Services listing under GUNSMITHING. Description: This Rock Island TCM Combo combines the exciting little .22 TCM cartridge with the venerable 9mm Luger (9X19). Simply swap top ends and you can handle varmints ranging in size from mice to men. The .22 TCM delivers about 2000 fps in the handgun – about the same ballistics as one would get from a .22 Hornet rifle – but it does so in a handgun. And, Yes, factory ammo is readily available. Built on the Para-Ord wide body frame, this pistol carries 17+1 rounds and weighs in at 2.6 lbs and is 8.5 inches in length with the 5-inch barrel and 1.4 inches across. With the wide-body frame it still points wonderfully well and manages the 9mm recoil with ease. It wears the factory polymer grips with a Parkerized frame and custom casehardened slide. Sights consist of a two-dot adjustable Nolan-style rear with a red bead at the front. The pistol appears to have been fired very little. Price: $650 SOLD |
