Personal Check with hold Description: Very Nice Used Rogers & Spencer .44 caliber Army Revolver. Delivered to US Government after the civil war. Has a 7.5" octagon barrel with an excellent bright bore. Action is strong and indexes properly. Nipples are in excellent condition. Serial number is #569 and is all matching and is also found on frame, butt, cylinder, barrel, loading lever and on the back of both grip panels. Grips are solid , with slight loss on sharp edges. Has a well struck "cartouche" on left grip panel. . Botton of both panels are stamped eith letter "B". Screw heads are all nice and show very little molestation. Metal finish has some areas of origanal blue remaining. Rest is all Plum to Brown patina. Numerous "Inspector's" markings, "B","P", etc. are found on frame, hammer, barrel, cylinder, etc. Top of frame reads, "ROGERS & SPENCER / UTICA N.Y." Buyer pays $25.00 shipping to lower 48 states.
