12 bore Greener Hammer Gun - 30 inch Damascus barrels with clean bores choked 705 and 720.
Not Nitro Proofed, but will within original black powder proof dimensions.
Extensive Scroll and floral engraving, an Anson & Deeley forend latch and horn forend tip.
Sold as a final sale project gun because the firing pins are lacking. My English seller tells me that this was a common practice when the switch was made to hammerless as a safety feature to prevent an unauthorized user from shooting it. New firing pins and firing pin springs, and perhaps a rebrowing of the barrels and one would have a classic hammergun from a name maker at a good price!
