Cogswell & Harrison Nitro Proofed Hammer Gun
30 Inch Nitro proofed, 2 1/2 inch chambers - barrels by Bonehill - choked 690 and 720.
Extensive engraving and some figure in the butt.
THe forearm was split and has a sound but old repair done in England by glueing and doweling and is quite solid and will be a good shooter that is nitro proofed. However if I were to keep it, I would either inlet a bit of walnut into the crack and rechequer or perhaps cajole one of my wood working friends to make a new fore-end. Thus I listed it as a final sale project gun.
