This is a very nice Antique Smith & Wesson .44 Double Action 1st Model Top-Break Revolver. Serial number #9104. It is in .44 Russian caliber. Has a 5" strong rifled barrel with some black powder pitting. Has all matching numbers #9104. Numbers on "Latch", and back of cylinder, also match the serial number. Manufactured 1881-1898 era. Six shot Double action. The metal surfaces retain approx. 20% factory blue finish. The trigger and hammer retain strong case colors that are toning. . The Hard Rubber grips, with S&W logo, are in very good condition, with light dents and scratches. Left panel has partial serial number scratched into underside. . Has perfect Strong barrel legends!
