TINY Antique Allen VEST POCKET Deringer 22 Pistol
One of the Tiniest Pistols Made .22 Rimfire
Here we present an antique Ethan Allen & Co. Vest Pocket Deringer Pistol, made circa 1870 in Worcester, Massachusetts. This is one of the smallest pistols ever made in the U.S. It chambers a single .22 rimfire cartridge. The barrel pivots to the side for loading and unloading.
The overall condition is very good. The metal surfaces have a mild patina. The grips are in good shape. The bore is smooth and clean. The action is strong. The friction mechanism to keep the barrel from swiveling when the hammer is back is absent.
