Description:
this is a total from beginning to end custom rifle. It started out as a NEW CHARLES DALEY KBI LEFT HAND ACTION BY ZASTAVA, trued and blue printed and mated with a KREIGER match grade barrel chambered for the 224 Weatherby caliber. The barrel is 26" with a target crown. Chambering done with a Manton reamer. the entire metal work installed in an EXHIBITION PIECE OF FEATHERT CROTCH AMERICAN BLACK WALNUT.This blank cost over $950.00. The stock has 23 coats of hand rubbed tru-oil finish and beautifully hand checkered with 26 line per inch ribbon and Fluer-de-lis pattern. The stock is also fitted with a Gabon Ebony fore end and grip cap The stock is fitted with pedestal sling swivel bases, the butt is also checkered. SEE ALL PHOTOGRAPHS. The rifle is topped with a NEW WEAVER 15X42 CKT SCOPE IN WEAVER EXTENSION RINGS. When mounting the scope a small piece if MYLar was put between the rings and scope to prevent marring the scope finish. NOTE THIS GUN HAS NEVER BEEN FIRED. after THE RIFLE WAS BUILT IT WAS STORED IN A SAFE. Recently the owner had to move into a senior citizen home and is unable to possess any firearms on premises.
