Gunwerks is producing bolt rifles that many consider to be the front runner in both performance as well as technology. Through in house manufacturing, assembly, and range testing; they can control all the aspects that make a great rifle truly legendary. Their current lineup offers five bolt rifles and one muzzleloader. LR1000: Gunwerks flagship model is their most versatile setup that balances ease of use in the field with long range capability. A slightly heavier barrel contour along with a highly advanced hunting stock design; makes this firearm ultra reliable and easy to use in the field. CarbonX: This firearm is based off the LR1000 platform, but boasts a few added features for the competition, target, or varmint shooter. This firearm utilizes a lighter contour barrel that features a patented carbon wrapping process that helps move heat 22 times faster than steel to help reduce shot stringing often seen with high volume shooting. Muzzleloader: Built on the LRM-500 action, this 50 cal. muzzleloader utilizes a 209 primer ignition system to offer both reliability and repeatability that is unheard of. With a very specific barrel taper and special care taken to reduce deviation in bore diameter from breech to muzzle, this adds up to a gun that is capable of 1 MOA accuracy out to 500 yards. Helios: This is the lightest rifle offered by Gunwerks. With a stock specifically designed around the lighter contoured fluted barrel, Gunwerks is able to build a firearm that weighs 6.9 pounds without jeopardizing their 0.5 MOA guarantee on their bolt rifles. An added upgrade to a titanium action will further shed the weight on this highly advanced mountain rifle. Magnus: With the combination of a heavier contoured barrel that measures .850” at the muzzle and a heavier more upright adjustable stock lend this rifle to excel when shooting in the prone position. Built on the extended LR-1000 action to accept a Wyatt magazine box, wide flat forearm, and adjustable stock allow for a rock solid rifle when engaging targets out to 1,300 yards. Verdict: Built on the magnum LR-1500 action this gun takes the same concept of the Magnus and intensifies it for the biggest magnums. Chambered in 300 Norma, 338 Norma, or 338 Lapua; one is able to see repeatable pinpoint accuracy out to 1 MILE. Each model is offered with the optional Long Range Package that includes: proper barrel break in, accuracy validation( must be capable of shooting 0.5 MOA), development of a true ballistic profile for the rifle, and a Nightforce scope with the G7 reticle and custom elevation turret. This allows one to achieve the finest accuracy by simple ranging the target and dialing in the distance.
