Description:
Sako L579 Forester .243 Win as new Custom Pachmayr stock with very nice grain. The barreled action was bought by a Vietnam soldier in late 60's and sent it to Pachmayr to be stocked. He fired it one time (no sights) said he wanted to see if it would shoot and put it in closet. I traded for it 30 plus years ago and it has been in my gun room since unfired. Still has factory grease on bolt face. Bluing is 99.9% with a small mark on top of front scope block. See pic. Stock has a couple on very minor dings while stored. The barrel is marked Bofors steel and made in Finland. Pre 1972 model serial # 25997. Beautiful gun.
Some years ago I bought a set of Redfied bases which are still new in the box for $20.00 which I would sell with the gun for $20.00. Never put them on the gun.
