Hello, This late Postwar C96 Mauser was built C-1929 it is the Bolo commercial model. Many familys purchased these for thier sons fighting in the front lines. (Winston Churchill`s mother bought him one that saved his life!) Beauty little Broomhandle with 90% original blued finish remaining. Good bore. Chambered in 7.63 MM. Wood grips show wear from use. Wooden Holster/Stock is a reproduction that fits gun well. These Late model Bolo 1896 Bolo Broomhandles are a very fun pistol to own. The pistols found service all over the world and were a highly copied design by China and Spain. This is an original Mauser with crisp markings and long range sights. All German Iron Cross props and ammo used in photos are not for sale.
