Mcgivern 38/44, almost unknown and never seen. Factory five inch barrel on pre-war 38/44 outdoorsman (adjustable sights, of course.) non matching magna grips of the correct era. Has been refinished, not by S&W. Grips slightly altered, see photos.
Price includes McGivern’s book “Fast and fancy Revolver Shooting” that shows similar revolvers on page 115. If mint this S&W would be almost priceless, refinished by an unknown makes it affordable. $2000 includes shipping and the book. Lay-a-way available, no credit cards and no trades.
