Ithaca Americana model 37 12 gauge pump shotgun that looks new and unfired. Large eagle with Heritage, The Ithaca Gun Company, engraved in a ribbon on both sides of the receiver. 28 inch mod. choke vent rib barrel. I understand 2200 of this mod were made in 1972 and issued to wholesalers when they ordered a certiain number of guns. The gun has been in my safe for about 40 years and not fired or handled. There are light wear marks on the magazine tube where the action was opened and no other dings, wear or marks. Unusual gun for Ithaca collector. Someone now tells me these were made in 1970. ???
