Description:
This Colt single action revolver is in near new, possibly unfired condition, (see pics) and per factory letter was shipped to an individual in 1929 as a single (1) gun shipment! All matching serial #'s, including the cylinder, with the exception of the back strap, in which the first 3 numbers match (352XXX), but, the last 3 are hard to make out, and do not appear to match the rest of the gun. The case colors on this gun are exceptional, the best I have seen on a pre war SAA, and the bluing is brilliant. A small area on the back strap has flaked, and shows a patina in that area. Crisp, clear factory markings still remain, as expected. Mint, unblemished, cylinder chambers and bore still retain most original blue. Only a very faint drag line can be seen on the cylinder. The grips show no wear, and fit excellent. If not for the back strap, this gun would be in the $7,500-$8,500, price range, in this condition!! Please ask questions if desired.
