Description:
This is a Sako A III rifle in .375 H&H Magnum. This model was produced from 1978-1982. The 24 inch barrel is in Excellent condition with a few handling marks. The bore is bright and shiny. The action is Excellent with light wear on the bolt knob. Bottom metal is Excellent with light wear on the bottom of the trigger guard. The custom stock is checkered walnut with a cheek piece, a Rosewood fore end cap, and sling swivel studs. The condition of the wood is Excellent with a few marks on the toe of the butt on the left side and some depressions on the left side beneath the action and above the trigger guard. Sights are a three leaf folding express sight on a quarter rib with a hooded front blade sight on a barrel band. This rifle comes equipped with a Leupold Vari-X III 1.5-5 scope that is included in the price of the rifle. The scope and mounts will not be removed and the rifle repriced without them.
