Description:
Here is the opportunity you've been waiting for, a very desirable solid, SxS that is not so pretty that you can't take it afield and enjoy this shotgun as it was ment to be used. It's in really good shape considering it was made around 1897 - 1898. You can rework the stocks and chase the engraving, but why not just take it out and enjoy a fine quality firearm. It has been brought to my attention that this shotgun may not a true Diamond Grade, (Since this gun was ordered with the Krupp barrels, it does not have "Diamond Grade" on the barrel rib), can't tell if the engraving id full coverage, but a level somewhere below "Like 185". I'm no expert, so be sure and research. Look over attached period ad for these shotguns.

Sorry about the poor picture quality, if you want to see another shot, or a different angle, let me know.   12 Ga. Sn: 1146. All numbers Match. Marked "Prussia" on the water table and has the cross pistol mountings underneath the Barrels, 30" Krupp fluid steel. R.S. Lindner mfg'd gun with top rib marked "CHARLES DALY KRUPP FLUID STEEL Barrels". Very good bright bores. Chambers 2 1/2". Well engraving. Scalloped boxlock action with side clips, cross bolt lock, double triggers, cocking indicators, auto extractors/ejectors. Floorplate engraved.   CONDITION: Locks tight on face, no play anywhere. Scattered very light scratches with spots of freckling on barrels.  Butt Stock has old crack repair, been like that for years. Splinter forearm with worn hand checkering, horn forearm cap & round knob grip insert.  Toe line has German silver nameplate. LOP: 13 3/4" with Western Gun Exchange pad. DAC: 1 7/8". DAH: 3 1/4". Action retains 0% case colors. Stocks have good finish with some checkering wear.  As with all guns, this one should be checked by a qualified gunsmith before use.   Payment by POSTAL (USPS) MONEY ORDER ONLY.
