It's in really good shape considering it was made around 1897 - 1898. You can rework the stocks and chase the engraving, but why not just take it out and enjoy a fine quality firearm. It has been brought to my attention that this shotgun may not a true Diamond Grade, (Since this gun was ordered with the Krupp barrels, it does not have "Diamond Grade" on the barrel rib), can't tell if the engraving id full coverage, but a level somewhere below "Like 185". I'm no expert, so be sure and research. Look over attached period ad for these shotguns. Sorry about the poor picture quality, if you want to see another shot, or a different angle, let me know. 12 Ga. Sn: 1146. All numbers Match.
