Description:

Savage Arms 99 .250-3000 Savage caliber rifle. Beautiful model 99 Savage with custom stock and engraving. Gun is marked “H&H Zehner, Gunsmiths, Frankfurt.” Game scene engraved with a stag on the left side and a fox stalking a small animal on the right. The frame, lever, barrel, and scope rings are all engraved with the quality expected from a top notch German craftsman. Stock is circassian walnut and carved in scrolls, florals, and flourishings. Buttplate, pistol grips cap, and forend are horn. The scope is mounted on quick detachable claw mounts. Scope is a variable 1x4 B. Nickel/Marburg, Germany made. Optics are excellent. This is very fine example of quality German work on a classic American rifle.
