This Colt was produced in 1984. The black powder frame Colts were introduced in that year. This pistol's serial number is SA 69625. This 45 Colt is "B" factory coverage engraving. Inside the grip frame this pistol is properly stamped Colt eng if you remove the grips. This Colt is unfired in it's factory display box. This pistol has not been cocked or handled. This Sheriffs model has the very desirable black powder frame rather than the standard smokeless frame. The engraving is very tasteful and pleasing to the eye. This is a very handsome looking pistol that should show nicely in any Colt collection! This pistol has a lot going for it, first year of the black powder frame, factory engraved, being a Sheriffs model and it has the factory display box. Search for hlvfine guns on google.
