Action is missing the firing pin, and likely whatever holds the pin in position. It otherwise seems operable. Metal is very good with some faint traces of blue and basically smooth metal. It has been non-professionally engraved during its “in-use years”…not a bad job, but somewhat amatuerish to say the least. If too objectionable, it could easily be buffed off as it is very shallow. The wood is very good, but likely replaced since, while not being quickly noticeable, the butt stock has about a two-inch longer pull than factory, and both forearm and butt stock are TOO good to be real. Butt plate is a well-done replacement, as well. $1350 SOLD Antique: Yes |
