Description:
I’m selling from my collection a unique custom on a Mark-X commercial Mauser action. This rifle features a 24” barrel, double set triggers, banded front sight, adjustable barrel-mounted rear sight, , jeweled bolt & magazine follower, a finger clasp style magazine release, and a trigger guard that entends up the rear grip face. I was told by the previous seller the rifle was built by Dean Lincoln of Blanco, New Mexico and the Fancy Circasian Walnut stock with Niedner butt plate and skeleton style grip cap was crafted by Lowen Diede. The rifle weighs 7# and 13.5 oz on my scale. Length of pull is 14" from the front trigger.
I would rate the gun in atleast 95-98% condition with some light scratches in the wood, a scratch on barrel near the front sight, and some oxidation on the bolt handle an safety schroud, and some wear in the bluing on the floorplate and triggerguard. In addition one of the four scope mount holes on the top of the receiver needs to be rethreaded.
