From the same collection as the previous Carbines. The DCM / CMP box and paperwork are long gone. This Carbine was manufactured by National Postal meter serial number 40851XX placing date of manufacture in 10/1943. Overall condition is excellent with 95% of the original factory finish toned to a very nice dark green patina. The bore is perfect and will rate a 10 on a 1 to 10 scale. The bore is bright and shiny from the muzzle to breech. The bore and barrel are void of any damage or defects. We do not disassemble these Carbines, it is unknown what the small parts count is.
