C&R Pre-WWI DWM 1906 Commercial LUGER Pistol
Here we present a Pre-World War I DWM 1906 Commercial Luger Pistol, made circa 1906 in Berlin. Georg Luger’s creation was a near instantaneous success and many were exported around the world during this period for military and commercial sales alike.
This one is marked “DWM” on top of the toggle. The frame is marked “GERMANY”, which was typical of those being exported. This one has a grip satefy and no stock lug. It has been polished and reblued.
The overall condition is fine as refinished. The blue finish is 98% and the markings are clear. The serial numbers match on the barrel, frame, trigger, grip satefy and takedown lever. The toggle and side plates do not match. The grips have been sanded smooth. The bore is in fine shape with good rifling. The action is excellent. Here is a good-looking pre-WWI Luger for your collection!
