CIVIL WAR MANHATTAN .36 CAL. PERCUSSION NAVY REVOLVER CIRCA 1863-4. 5 shot with 6 ½” octagon barrel stamped “MANHATTAN FIRE ARMS CO. NEWARK, N.J.” Cylinder roll die engraved with 5 cartouches handsomely depicting military and naval battle scenes and with the patent dates stamped about the rear behind the nipples. All matching serial numbers. Old very well done re-blued finish on the metal with all the markings and the cylinder scene still perfectly crisp. Walnut grips with old plugged dowel hole on left flat but in fine condition otherwise. Excellent bore and perfect working order. Really nice example of this desirable Civil War era Navy at a reasonable price.
