SIAMESE MAUSER TYPE 45 KNIFE BAYONET WITH SCABBARD. Meant for 8mm Siamese contract rifles.Similar to the type 30 rifle bayonets and made in Tokyo for Siam(current day Thailand). Siamese serial number on ricasso. Stopped fullered blade with spear point. Wood grip panels good condition held with two rivets. Birdshead pommel with Siamese serial number characters on butt. Dented scabbard missing one retaining screw. Scabbard throat shaped to allow scabbard on blade when afixed to rifle.
