Description:
26" tapered round Krieger barrel with detented-hooded full-band front sight, full-band swivel base and quarter rib. Highly figured dark walnut stock by Al Lind with schnabel forend, classic point-pattern checkering with mullered borders, beaded action sidepanels, compartmented steel pistol grip cap containing peep sight interchangeable with scope on quarter rib, beaded pancake cheekpiece, inletted and pedestalled rear swivel base, mercury recoil reducer, and leather-covered recoil pad. Metalwork by Ed LaPour using a Dakota Model 10 falling block action with top tang safety. Finely engraved by Bob Evans with gold borderlines, intertwining acanthus scroll, multi-colored floral inlays, a leopard head on left and a lion head on right. Loading lever, grip cap, quarter rib and scope rings engraved en suite. Schmidt & Bender 1.5-6x42 illuminated scope with No.9 duplex reticle on Talley quick-detachable mounts fitted directly to quarter-rib dovetails without separate bases. Pull: 13 3/8". Weight: 7lbs, 14oz with peep sight; 9lbs, 4 1/2oz with scope. Fine condition with excellent bore and 99%+blue.
