Description:
Springfield Armory Model 1861 was the standard musket used in the Civil War. One of the most important and collectable of U.S. military percussion rifles. It was the pattern for the numerous private contractors.  Condition: Good bore, minor pitting on most metal surfaces, very good walnut stock, light cartouches. Functions perfectly. A desirable, above average example of Civil War history.
