Colt National Match 45 ACP
One more Colt 1911 from my Florida customer. Find this excellent Colt National Match bearing serial # 5695-NM, circa early 1961ish. This pistol retains 96-97% maybe better of its original factory royal blue finish. It has the “new design” beveled barrel bushing and recoil spring plug, long wide trigger with adjustable over travel stop, the slides had enlarged ejection ports and the slides were hand fitted. This is truly a very nice pistol. Slide and barrel are marked National Match or NM respectively. There are a few small spots along the sharp edges of diminished blue which is typical for a sparingly used pistol. Bore and chamber are excellent. Walnut grips are very nice as well. This gun was a challenge to photograph because the deep Royal Blue finish kept reflecting everything. A great collection enhancer that if you provide diligent and reasonable care will allow you to also shoot this gun.
