Description:
Price Recuced -- F/S - no trades. Arrieta 578 20 ga - 3 inch. This is a deluxe Arrieta with the Purdey Rose & Scroll hand engraved pattern on the coin finished receiver. The gun is in excellent condition with barely perceptible wear on the right barrel breach (last picture). There are four very, very minor handling marks on the buttstock that are difficult to see and won't clearly photograph. Otherwise it is perfect - no rust. Barrels are original at 29 inches with a dished rib. Bores are pristine and and measure .626 are choked ImpSkt (.006) and Lt. Modified .011. Weight is 6 pounds, 8 ounces. DAC- 1 1/4", DAH- 1 7/8", LOP- 14 3/4", 1/8" cast off. Engraved on the top right barrel breach is "Fca. de Escapelas Arrieta - Elgeibar Espania". These guns are no longer being manufactured and the 578 model was all hand engraved with deluxe wood. This has been a great upland bird gun with both lead and bismuth.
