Description:
Original antique Colt Open Top pocket revolver. Manufactured 1871-1877. Caliber .22, 7 shot. A black powder firearm, not for use with modern .22 ammunition. Barrel marked: COLT'S PT F.A, MFG Co. HARTFORD CT USA.
Left side of frame marked: 22 CAL. Pistol retains apx 80% original nickel plating. Metal is dark where plating has flaked off over the years. No pitting. Fine original walnut grips. markings and mechanics fine. Serial number 10501X (matching). An old hand made leather holster is included with this Colt. Dates to the Old West era. Sold as a Collector item, not warranted for actual use.
