Description:
This is exactly like what someone would have used in the Buffalo Bill Wild Show or the 101 Ranch to carry their Winchester in. It is marked Winchester and Model 1873 in a banners on the top of the case. In the center is a Frontiersman with a Bowie knife leaning over a log and shooting at a Grizzly. This an outstanding ornate piece. It has a rounded top. It has some acorns and evergreen sprigs painted on it. Both top and bottom have numerous screws holding it all together. There is what I believe to be a name on the bottom.  It is fitted for a 73 rifle. It has somewhat of an amateur lining job. There is some odds and end accoutrements inside such as a Winchester bullet mold and Ideal cleaning kit. For the guy who has the right gun this is the ticket!
