Description:
This pre-WW2 Walther PP in .32ACP is in beautiful original condition. This PP is marked with Crown over N proofs and is serial number 818471, making its date of production circa early 1930's. As you can see in the pictures it has 95 to 96% of the original high polish blue finish remaining with only some minor handling marks and a tiny bit of high edge wear. Both the front and rear grip straps look excellent, with only the lower rear of the of the backstrap showing some light marring of the finish. There is a close-up picture of this area. The fire-blued safety lever still shows a lot of the beautiful bright finish. The bore in this pistol is minty and bright. The rifling still shows sharp lands and grooves and there is no pitting or erosion whatsoever. The original checkered black plastic grips with the Walther banner logos are in good shape overall but the left grip panel shows some of the typical seperation on the leading edge. This is minor and quite common on these pre-war guns. Outside of that defect, both grips are free from cracks or repairs. Everything works 100% on this PP like the day it left the factory. It comes with one original factory magazine with the black plastic finger extension. If you have been looking for a nice PP for your collection that is high condition but yet not too nice to touch and shoot, this would be a great choice.
