Description:
Classic combo by Schuler (Coln), well used but sound and a fine shooter. Superb period scroll engraving on the scalloped boxlock action with single Greener fastener and double underlug, tight w. lever to right. NP barrels, 27", 16ga 2 5/8" on top, .654"/.630" (IM) bright bore; 8x57 (.318) under, strong rifling w. light pitting. Intercepting sears, cocking indicators, single set rifle trigger. Solid rib w. integral dovetails, folding single leaf rear sight. Front sight is a soldered replacement. Sling swivels, metal grip cap. Sound stock w. shadow line cheekpiece, checkering going on forend. LOP 13 7/8" thru original checkered horn plate, toe rounded off, 2 3/4" drop. Looks all original, lot of gun for the money, light at 6lbs.
