Description:
Early hammerless back action (No 2 mfg 1891 serial 11976) sidelock Paradox gun, cased with two boxes of modern H&H Paradox ammunition and a perfect one hole regulation target by Ken Owen. Gun has been restored, 28" x 2 5/8" barrels are well-blacked with some residual pitting on left chamber, bores are .740 both with pitting, rifling intact, 150 yd leaf missing. Original proof NP 28gr cordite 750 gr bullet, 2 1/2", reproof. Original wood has been refinished and recheckered, 15" LOP through checkered butt, horn grip cap. Action with auto safety and unusual plunger type cocking rods is unrestored apart from replacement pin (rejointed), reblacked trigger bow, and nickeled triggers. In a period H&H canvas case (in sound condition with original straps not shown in pic) with label for a similar gun 11852. A tad shy of 7lbs.This ones a shooter with factory ammo and she still shoots true after all these years!
