Description:
This is an original William Ford boxlock 12 gauge shotgun made between 1889 and 1898 in Birmingham.  The brown Damascus barrels are 28” long and chambered for 2-¾” cartridges.  The left barrel is a full choke while the right barrel is a modified choke.  There is light pitting on the underside of the left barrel.  The stock is P++ walnut, checkered at the wrist, panel, and forearm.  There is a 1 inch fracture on the right side of the forearm.  The trigger guard, breech, top lever and tang are finely engraved.  The length of pull is 14-½” and the overall length is 45”.  Good fit and finish overall.  Our stock number A230.
