*** SOLD ^^^ Handsome AyA Model 53 in 20 gauge with 28” barrels, double triggers, and auto ejectors. Fabulous engraving on the frame and hand detachable sidelocks. Finish is AyA’s “Old Silver” finish. The rampant lion AyA logo is inlaid in gold on the toplever. Rolled edge trigger guard. Made in the early 1960’s but has hardly been shot. Overall weight is 6lb 12oz. Very nicely balanced. Swings great. *** The 28” chopper lump barrels are chambered for 2-3/4” shells. They are topped by a raised solid tapered crosshatched rib. Bluing is excellent. The right barrel is bored 0.617 with a constriction of 0.020 for Modified choke. The left barrel is also bored 0.617 and has a constriction of 0.030 for Full choke. *** The straight grip stock and splinter forearm are made from highly figured European walnut. Checkering is crisp. Stock dimensions are 15-1/8” over a 1” rubber recoil pad by 1-3/8” by 2”. Cast off for the righthanded shooter. The stock is nicely finished but there are a few small handling marks. See photo of one small dent that can easily be raised and made to go away by a competent gunsmith. *** Great handling classic game gun Good quail or grouse gun. Very handsome double. Life is short. *** Buyer is responsible for all shipping, insurance, and any other related charges.
