Description:
Can't really explain it, but Cobras are HOT right now and top quality examples have been selling in the upper teens. Up for sale today is a LNIB Colt Cobra. The serial number dates production to 1973. This is an late "transition" gun during the period when Colt was switching over from the older generation "exposed ejector rod" model in favor of the new "shrouded ejector". The grip was also changing at this time. This one has the new shroud, and new style walnut grips together with the older two piece wooden box with the red/black liner. The original factory box is in excellent condition and serial number matched to the gun. Also included is the plastic bag, "Handling The Gun" and Warranty Card. The gun itself appears like it may not have been fired after leaving the factory and is in at least 99% condition. The very faintest of a turn line can be found in just the right lighting. The pictures speak for themselves. Overall an excellent collector package just about impossible to improve on.
