Also for sale today is a LNIB Colt Detective Special. The serial number dates production to 1972. This is an early "transition" gun and has the new shroud, and new style walnut grips together with the older two piece wooden box with the red/black liner. The original factory box is in excellent condition and serial number matched to the gun. Also included is the plastic bag, anti-corrosion paper, "Handling The Gun" and Warranty Card. The gun appears like it may not have been fired after leaving the factory and is about 99% condition. A very faint turn line can be seen. Please see the pictures for condition details.
