Winchester Pre-64 Model 70 Super Grade 300 H&H Magnum
The owners pet Pre-64 Winchester Model 70 Super Grade in 300 H&H Magnum. This rifle has some scuffs and scratches but was an extremely accurate rifle. Rifle bears serial # 430615, circa 1958. Bore is bright with no pits or visible problems. Loves most Nosler loads. Rear sight blade is missing, front hood is missing. The stock is scuffed and if mine I’d take some time and gently refinish it. The receiver was drilled for the vintage 1” Griffin Howe scope mount you see mounted. Pretty nice quick detachable mount for back in the day. Rifle has been bedded at some point, when the owner became more sensitive to recoil the aftermarket recoil pad was added.
