Description:
Prker Bros. DH grade 12 gauge built in 1898.This gun is in remarkable all original condition. It retains at least 50% of the original case colors,98% of the original damascus pattern, and 98% of the original wood finish. The gun has 28" fine damascus barrels choked improved cylinder (.010") and modified (.025").The barrels have bright clean bores free of any rust, dents,or pits. The minimum wall thickness is .032" so the gun is safe to shoot with reasonable loads. The barrels are on face and lock up tightly to the action with no play. The pistol grip stock is unusual for its age in that it has modern shooting dimensions of !$" LOP over a skeleton butt,15/8" at comb, and 2" at heel. All specifications match the factory letter perfectly. All screw heads are clean and in time. This gun appears to have never had a screwdriver on it.Built on a #2 frame, the gun weighs 7-8.A true collector class Parker that would make a great upland gun or vintager clays gun.Very hard to find in this condition.Classed as an antique,so it can be shipped direct.
