Description:
Parker 12 gauge VHE restored to like new condition. #2 frame, 30" barrels, choked IM/IM, 14 1/4" LOP, 1.5" DAC, 7 lbs 11 ozs, white middle bead with mammoth ivory front bead, new 1" vintage Silver's style recoil pad, excellent to perfect screw slots, manual safety, action locks up tight like new, good checkering, crisp engraving, shiny bores, and solid stocks. All serial numbers match. This gun was just restored to like new condition with bone charcoal case colors, rust blued barrels, new sighting beads, hot blued furniture, refreshed wood finish, and new vintage style pad. The butt had a slight curvature and the LOP is a factory 14 1/4" indicating that this gun came from the factory with a 1" Silver's recoil pad and the wood has not been cut. Aside from the upgraded sighting beads, this gun now looks almost exactly as it would have when new. A few very small, minor handling bruises on the wood. The ejectors work perfectly and the forend fits tight to the barrels. There is simply nothing to apologize for with this VHE. This is an exquisite, collectible vintage double that can still be taken afield and fully used as originally intended. Three day non-firing, non-disassembly inspection period runs from receipt by FFL. Insured Priority mail shipping is $60 to CONUS. 6% sales tax collected from Idaho residents.
