Winchester Model 12 12 Gauge Vent Rib Imp Cyl
My California customer has consigned this nice 12-gauge 2 ¾ inch Model 12 pump shotgun with us. The shotgun bears serial # 1440837, mid 50’s production. This gun has a 26-inch Improved Cylinder choked barrel. Bore and chamber are in excellent condition with no visible defects at all. Original factory blue finish remaining is an easy 92-94%. This gun was likely sent over to Simmons many years ago by Winchester for the vent rib treatment. This has the desirable “duckbill” or “shovel” rib extension and waving matte finish the length of the receiver. This Model 12 has very nice highly figured wood that would cost you a small fortune to buy. LOP from face of trigger to edge of Limbsaver recoil pad is 14 ¾. There are a couple spacers added and the butt stock measures 13 3/8th inches from trigger face to wood edge. Barrel receiver union is tight no looseness. I’ve shot this one on the skeet fields, love it!!!
