Description:
75 rounds of Original 101 year old WWI 6.5X50mm rifle ammunition. During WWI, shortages of small arms forced The British and Russians to buy large numbers of type 30 and type 38 rifles from Japan. The Japanese were not able to supply enough ammunition for these rifles. The British companies of Knyoch and King's Norton Metal Co. produced this ammunition to fill the void. The head stamp on these indicate they were made by Kynoch in 1917. The British call it, ".265 inch caliber MKII". Excellent condition, these have not been cleaned or polished. No loose bullets,no split or cracked cases,no corrosion,just a warm even patina.
