Offered is a very high condition 1st Model Woodsman Sport .22 caliber complete with the box and paperwork. The gun remains in excellent condition and the finish would rate 99%. The gun is mechanically perfect and the bore is excellent. The original checkered walnut grips appear as they did when the gun left the factory in 1942. A terrific collector piece from 76 years ago. Box includes the Colt Woodsman instruction sheet and a copy of an early Colt brochure. I purchased this gun in the mid-1990’s from the daughter of the original owner making me the third owner of the gun. There is a Michigan Safety Certificate from when the daughter owned the gun and her father's name is written on the bottom of the box along with the original price of $65.00. A terrific complete package with its history. I offer a three day non-firing inspection period and always want the buyer to be satisfied with their purchase. The gun will be packed correctly and shipped via FedEx Air with insurance to your FFL dealer in the continental United States for $55 (California is extra because I have to ship through my local dealer). This gun requires a C&R or FFL license for transfer. I ship the following day after the payment arrives and provide tracking information.
