Description:
This is a rare to find Colt Police positive special 2" revolver. Original Box ,Factory letter. aprox 98plus +original finish . This is Colts first attempt to produce a 2'' snubby revolver. The letter says shipped feb1st 1927. Posibly dating the gun a 1926 made piece. Ser# 337189 Shipped to New York as the letter says.This is a all correct early piece with smooth top strap and smooth trigger. It has the early small police positive grip with excellent walnut grips. The bore and cylinder are minty and it locks up single and double action solid. There are a few scratches on opossite sides on the cylinder rear edge probably from sliding in a drawer as you can see on one of the pics. Its a beauty and would be hard to improve on. I believe there were few made of this piece and it was the for runner of the Detective special. Call with any questions Tom 612 859 5673
