Offered is a Colt Officers Model Flat TopTarget .38 Special from 1909 with a 6” Barrel. The gun remains in very good condition and has been in the same collection for the last 40 years. The gun is mechanically perfect and retains approximately 95-96% of it’s original high polish blue finish. The bore is excellent and the original checkered walnut grips are in excellent condition. I have been collecting the pre-war Officers Model Targets for over 50 years and this is the best example of this time period that I have encountered. It is very difficult to find these early high polish blue guns with a high percentage of finish. This gun has lots of finish and the fire blue on the hammer and trigger is about 98%. The gun is mechanically perfect and the bore is excellent. I offer a three day non-firing inspection period and always want the buyer to be satisfied with their purchase. The gun will be packed correctly and shipped via FedEx Air with insurance to your FFL dealer in the continental United States for $55 (California is extra because I have to ship through my local dealer). This gun requires a C&R or FFL license for transfer. I ship the following day after the payment arrives and provide tracking information.
